Welcome to My Indian News. This blog has it all, from New Year to COVID, to lockdown to fungus, to IPL, 2021 to all the controversies. These events will mostly be related to Coronavirus.

Happy New Year, 2021…!

The New Year as always brought lots of new hope and started with a celebration.

New Variant of COVID-19 found in the UK.

A new variant of COVID-19 was found in January, which was proved to spread even faster than the older one.

Indian Government launches Vaccination Drive.

The Indian Government launches a vaccination Drive for the people of India.

India wins against Australia in the Gabba Stadium after 32 Years.

India wins against Australia in the Gabba Stadium after 32 Years, the team registered a historic win and retained the Border-Gavaskar Trophy. They won the series by 2–1.

Tandav.

Tandav was accused of hurting the religious sentiments of the Indian People. Especially, in a scene in which, the actor was dressed as Lord Shiva, was seen saying about ‘Azaadi’.

Joe Biden

Mr. Biden was sworn in as the 46th President of the United States of America on the 20th of January 2021. The USA has been a great friend to India since our independence.

India’s Republic India.

The 71st Republic Day of India took place on the 26th of January,2021. Two months of peaceful protests turned violent on the 26th of January. They breached the Security of Red Fort and entered it, Over 2,00,000 tractors took part in the rally on the 26th of January.

Average COVID-19 Cases for January-13,092.

Nanda Devi Glacier.

The Nanda Devi Glacier Disaster. Many lost lives and many were badly injured as the water trapped inside the glacier was released. Nearly 40 people died and 150 people went missing after this disaster.

Narendra Modi Stadium.

The Narendra Modi Stadium was completed this year. It is the biggest stadium in the world and has a seating capacity of 1,300,00. It is located in Ahmedabad, Gujarat.

Average COVID-19 Cases for February-15,199.

Trivendra Singh Rawat.

The Chief Minister of Uttarakhand, Trivendra Singh Rawat, was asked to resign from the post of CM by the party Chief, J.P. Nadda on the 10th March 2021.

Zomato.

A Zomato delivery executive, Kamaraj, was accused of Assault by Hitesha Chandranee. Later, Kamaraj filed a complaint against her at the local police station for defaming him, assault and abusing him. A trend started on Twitter, many people started giving their opinions on the matter.

Bengal Election Starts.

The Bengal Election started on the 27th of March,2021. Bengal has a total of 294 seats.

Holi 2021.

The Festival of Colours took place on the 29th of March this year. People eagerly wait for Holi every year.

Average Cases of COVID-19 in March-62,019.

1,00,000 COVID-19 Cases.

For the first time, India recorded more than 1,00,000 cases of COVID-19 in a single day, it was recorded on the 6th of April,2021.

Government Orders.

To ensure the safety of the people the Central Government ordered to close of all education centers and offices on the 8th of April,2021 due to the increase in COVID-19 cases.

IPL.

The Indian Premier League’s first match took place on the 10th of April. IPL 2021 is the 14th Edition of this Tournament, it has a very big fanbase. The first match took place between MI and RCB, RCB emerged as the winner of the match.

Class 10 Boards Cancelled.

The Central Board of Secondary Education decided to cancel the Boards for class 10, to ensure the safety of the students. Students across the Country were overwhelmed hearing the news about the Cancellation of the Boards.

Average cases of COVID-19 in April-3,84,600.

IPL Cancelled.

The IPL Governing Council decided to suspend IPL, 2021 due to the increase of COVID-19 cases and to ensure the safety of the players.

Partial Lockdown In U.P.

A Partial Lockdown was issued in U.P. for five days, but later the government extended it for another 10 days with some new guidelines, keeping in mind, the increasing cases of COVID-19.

Bengal Elections Result.

The results for the Bengal election came out on the 2nd of May,2021, and Mamta Banerjee emerging as the winner and retaining her position as the CM of Bengal.

4,00,000 COVID-19 Cases.

India recorded 4,00,000 cases of COVID-19 in a single day on the 6th of May,2021.

Cease Fire.

Israel and Hamas agreed to a cease-fire, which came into effect on the 21st of May,2021. The cease-fire ended the fighting between the two nations which began on the 10th of May. Almost 250 people lost their lives in this fight between the two.

Cyclone Yaas.

The IMD had put 6 districts in Red Alert. Yaas passed from Odisha at its peak of intensity on the 26th of May. Nearly 20 people lost their lives due to the Cyclone. It was declared a very severe cyclonic storm by the IMD.

Average Cases of COVID-19 in May-1,75,167.

COVID-19.

India records less than 1,00,000 cases after 63 days, on the 7th of June,2021.

Floods in Mumbai.

4 districts were put on orange alert by the IMD as heavy rain was predicted. Many people were relocated before the rain started. The rains affected many people.

Fungus.

Till now four types of Fungus has been found.

  • Black Fungus
  • White Fungus
  • Yellow Fungus
  • Green Fungus

Over 2,000 people have died due to Fungus. Many State Governments have declared Black Fungus as an Epidemic. Recently, the State Government of Rajasthan also declared Fungus as an Epidemic.
